QuickNav is an established business that has existed in various forms for the last 25 years, and initially was offering only navigation and power yacht training.
The business began to grow, moving 20 years ago to more substantial premises, where growth continued.. Some 15 years ago commercial training was added into the services offered, and 3 classrooms added, two on the North Shore and One in Burnaby to help keep up with student demand.
The focus now is on training private, corporate and commercial vessel operators and crews, and advanced training for the more experienced marine operators, through the use of independent instructors who are qualified and have marine backgrounds.
QuickNav also offers professional consulting for corporate, and individual boating needs.
Services
QuickNav now provides private tuition for general boating enthusiasts, in power boat instruction.
QuickNav has also gained Transport Canada Marine Safety Accredited Certification, to run Safety Training for Industrial and Corporate Vessel Operators and Crew courses, which became mandatory in 2009 along with Industry certification to instruct in VHF Radio ROC (M) and VHF Radio ROC (MC).
